I grew up on jazz, blues, and rock n' roll, which led me to the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. There, I learned the Bebop language, and how it can relate to blues, rock, and soul r&b. I now study the fusion of Rollins, Brecker, Jimmy Page, and Jimi Hendrix, developing a style that utilizes the chromatic language of the saxophone with the emotionally driven rifts of blues and rock players past. Orchestration and improvisation are my specialties, along with melodic and harmonic rift patterns.
