I've been playing for over 30 years on all saxophones from sopranino to contrabass. Currently I play alto with the Tyler Big Band and teach privately at the junior high and high school levels. Past positions have included Tyler Junior College Wind Ensemble/Apache Band/Jazz Ensemble, East Texas Jazz Orchestra University of Texas at Tyler Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensembles, and principal saxophone with the Tyler Community Band. I've taught saxophone in the Tyler & Dallas areas at all levels from beginner to professional, junior high students through retirees. My students are consistently in the top of their sections at most local schools and have earned numerous superior ratings for solos and ensembles. I was a member of the Texas Army National Guard 49th Armored Division Band, and have played professionally in the Tyler and Dallas areas for many years.
