I am Professor of clarinet and saxophone at the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. I have taught at the university level for 24 years. I have a BS and BA degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, an MM in Clarinet performance, Woodwind Specialist from Michigan State University, and a DMA in Clarinet from the University of Cincinnati. I am an active doubler in the Birmingham area and perform as a saxophonist with many touring groups, local musicals and the Alabama Symphony as well as many contemporary groups. I am also alto saxophonist with the Cahaba Saxophone Quartet.
