I started in Junior Hi (6th grade) and played thru 4 years in college. My horn is Tenor Sax, but I have played Bari as well, though I do not own a Bari. I recieved several solo and ensemble honors in high school and played with saxophone quartets and the university wind ensemble in college. Since college, I have played occasionally with some area jazz bands and most frequently with my church's worship band, which plays contemporary-styled worship and praise music.

I love to listen to great jazz. My model saxophone players are Kirk Whalum and Michael Brecker. Other jazz favorites are the Rippingtons, Pat Metheny, Euge Groove, Chick Corea, Paul Taylor, Dave Koz, Warren Hill, Spyro Gyra, David Sanborn, Earl Klugh, Boney James, Fourplay, Richard Elliot, Fattburger and David Benoit.
